Charlie, a tramp in love with the shipowner's daughter, her father intends to scuttle his ship on its last voyage to get the insurance money. Charlie is grabbed by the captain and promises to help him shanghai some seamen. The owner's daughter stows away to follow Charlie, which assists in the galley and serve food during a storm.
